about one of a kind jewelry

most of our pieces are one of a kind. we have only a few mold of some pieces.

but even the mold ones, are unique, because all of them are handmade one by one by Lucía Vilar. so every piece has its own uniqueness.

all glass pieces are one of a kind. that means that there is one size to that ring. but if you want the same in your size, we can make one but maybe it is way different.

we think that this uniqueness is what defines soleilu. so our perfection is our variation and exclusiveness

there is no possibility to return a jewel if your design expectations were the exact same as the picture and it is not.

quality and warranty

*sterling silver

all our silver jewelry is made out of certified 925 sterling silver.

we still don’t stamp the 925 number on our jewels (I think we don’t really need it) but the silver we use is genuine. if your jewel tarnish it could be the natural oxidation process. this is completely reversible by cleaning the jewel with our polishing cloth that we gift in every purchase. you can avoid oxidation by keeping the jewel in a plastic hermetic bag (we also give you one for free for every silver ring purchased)

* borosilicate glass

-will my jewel break then?

as you now know, we use this type of glass which is super resistant. you are using this type of glass everyday for example in your kitchen.

im sure you don’t break glass cups everyday don’t you? they break if they fall to the floor. so… its kind of the same with this. except… you wear this glass with you. so if you’re wearing your beautiful soleilu ring and you hit something with it, it may breaks, may not. as if you drop a cup. its the same, but your possibility to break a jewel is higher as you’re carrying it all the time.

chances to break your jewel can get higher depending on the design:

this cutie has a very compact design. this reduces the possibility of breaking.

glass is a very very nice material, it is 100% recyclable, that means that it can be fixed by working with it in the flame again. we offer a reparation service. email us or dm us for more info about this.

-yes. there is a way. we don’t like this way but we understand clumsiness, so there is a way to make it more resistant. covering the glass with a resin can add much more strength to the piece.

we don’t love doing this as the piece loses its genuine glass texture that we love. also we avoid using this type of chemicals, for the planet impact and because if we add it, we cannot put again the piece in the fire, so we cannot recycle it. but we understand and we can add this strength plus to your jewel.

warranty???

we take for granted that if we made a mistake in the production of a piece we have to fix it or give a new one if the problem is notified before a period of a week after you recieve your jewel

what if I get the wrong size?

if you ordered the wrong size, we can make a new one that fits you, but please, order carefully and if you have any doubt, don’t hesitate to contact us.

you can also buy a ring sizer that we will send you by postcard

production time

if the piece is on stock and the size you have is the one we have, we only need to send it to you, so there will be no production time, just shipping time.

if we have to create a jewel for you it can take at least 7 days and maximum 30 days to produce, plus shipping time.

as everything is runned by Lucía Vilar (yes, its me writing this and designing my web and talking in 3rd person), production time can take long. it is difficult to run a business alone, and even more if it is a craftmanship one.
